Refreshing data fails although it is not a direct query

Hey,

I just took over Power BI from my former colleague. So that I'm quite new to the Power BI community.

All former source where alraedy created. The current data is not based upon Direct Query but zthe Import Button.

Usually I refreshed the data manually, but today the following text was shown, when doing so.

"Load was cancelled by an error in loading a previous table."

It would be a great help to me, if you could give me any indications to this problem.

Best,

Pauline

Hi @PaulineB,

Could you please describe more details about your scenario? We need to know that what is your data source and if you refresh data in Power BI Service or Power BI Desktop.

As far as I know, the above error could occur when you make some changes in your original data source, for example, rename columns, delete columns and so on. You would need  to open the Power BI Desktop file and go to Advanced Editor of the imported tables, then check if there is mismatch of columns between the imported tables and tables in your original data source.

Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
