Hi!
I realy like the new Q&A Explorer from the April 2018 update, but the report I would like to use it on is uses Power BI service dataset. Q&A is not supported at the moment for these dataset.
Is there any information if and when this will be supported? Or does anyone have a workaround for this problem?
Thanks in advance.

@Anonymous,
Based on my test, when publishing Power BI report from Desktop to Power BI service, you are able to use the Q&A explorer feature in Power BI Service. Do you want to use the feature in Power BI Service?
Besides, please note that if you use "Publish to web" feature in Power BI Service to publish the report, the Q&A Explorer does not appear and you can't use Q&A Explorer in mobile reports. It will however work in Power BI Embedded reports.

Lydia
I have a report (with dataset) made in the desktop and published to the service. Then I made new reports, live connected to that dataset. A great feature, but I cant use Q&A Explorer on these reports because it's not available in the desktop.
I can create the button, and when I publish it to the service it works. But I want to set up recommend questions to view certain hidden reportpages and for this I need it to be available in the desktop.
@Anonymous,
Currently, the Q&A Explorer is not available for live connections. You would need to wait for the future release of this feature.

Hi Lydia / @v-yuezhe-msft
Any idea when this will be available? Are we talking about a couple of months or longer? I'm doubting between building another solution or waiting for the support.
Thanks,
Koen
@Anonymous,
We are unable to get exact time about when this feature will be available. I would recommend you submit an idea in the forum below.
