Hi,
I installed the Gateway on one of our servers; I can successfully connect to our Oracle datawarehouse:
I then created a report with Power BI Desktop connecting to the same datasource name I used above: it works:
When I upload the report to web interface, unfortunately I get this error when opening it:
It seems it cannot connect to data, but when I do a connection test from web interface...it works!
Any hint?
Thank you!
Regards,
Alberto
Hi @albertovaghi,
As @ankitpatira mentioned, the issue can be caused by that the report contains other tables which are not from this Oracle data source. I would suggest you create a new .PBIX file, only contains one table with data from this Oracle data source to see if issue persists.

@albertovaghi As error suggests it is unable to connect to the data source using gateway. Perhaps it is worth checking that your published report if it is using more than one data sources, then gateway is configured for both of those sources. As you've said that you've used same connection names, strings for gateway and report data source i can't think of any reason why it should not work but error definately suggests it is unable to connect to one of the source for the report.
