We have a PowerBI report which pulls data from two sources. One is an import from an on premises SQL server (which works fine in other reports using the "enterprise" gateway). The other is an Excel sheet which lives in OneDrive. The two data sources are used together by PowerBI to generate the report.
PowerBI will not allow me to schedule a refresh using the on prem data gateway we use for other reports. It is greyed out. Instead, I have to use a Personal Gateway. This makes scheduling a refresh difficult, since the owner of the personal gateway must be logged into the computer for it to work.
Anyone know why this is happening? I found an article which seems to point to the issue (or something very similar), but I'm not sure if that's why we are seeing this:
