Error :Data Source access error, please contact gateway administrator.

Hi ,

I have installed the latest version of Enterprise GateWay and successfully created  SSAS Multidimensional Datasource  in app.powerbi.com using manage gateway . when i add the data set and try to explore the dataset  i am receiving the error " :Data Source access error, please contact gateway administrator."

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks.

Hi @praveen571,

Did you go thru the Get Data experience?

Does the account which you're signed in as in Power BI have access to the AS datasource?

What do you see if you look at the logs:

C:\Users\PBIEgwService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Enterprise Gateway\EnterpriseGateway*.log

 Thanks!
Dimah
