DataSource.Error: ODBC: ERROR [22P05] ERROR:

Hi all

Created an SQL link via a ODBC connection and get this error message.

DataSource.Error: ODBC: ERROR [22P05] ERROR: character with byte sequence 0xef 0xb8 0x8f in encoding "UTF8" has no equivalent in encoding "WIN1252";

The sql code I have works perfectly in other places so wonder why this is happening and what I can do about it.

Any help much appreciated
