Data Gateway "No Resources Found"

I'm trying to connect to data source which is our local SQL Server.

1) I downloaded and installed the On-premises data gateway application on one of our servers that has access to the SQL Server

2) After installation, I can see the gateway under "Manage Gateways" in Power BI Web and it says "Online. You are good to go."

3) I added a data source and it shows "Connection Successful"

4) When I try to add a dataset by clicking the +, then Databases, then SQL Server Analysis Services, then Connect, I get "No Resources Found" (Screen shot below).

5) Any ideas?  I'm using the same login I used to setup the on-premise gateway to login to Power BI Web.

Hi @rubendn,

If you want to get data from the SQL Server database, you need to create a .PBIX file in Power BI Desktop, which uses data from SQL Server database. Then publish the .PBIX file to Power BI Service. And configure the SQL Server data source in data gateway which you have done to make sure data refresh. For more information, please take a look at this article: Databases.

Hi @rubendn,

In your scenario, if you want to connect to SSAS data source, you need to configure SSAS data source in your gateway firstly. Please go to Manage Gateways, and check if you have added SQL Server Analysis Services data source.
