embed a PowerBI report in Salesforce

My client wants to integrate a PowerBI report in an iframe in Salesforce.com I know I can use the public link with Publish to web feature, but link and data won't be secured. So is there an alternative ? How could I register Salesforce as a web application accessing PowerBI resources ? Some question with Dynamics CRM.

You can not use iframe in salesforce using "X-Frame-Options" as a security measure, it will block the external site.

Unfortunatley the proper way to achieve this is using Canvas in Salesforce side and I guess following these steps in your salesforce org.

For Power BI, you would use the new Power BI Embedded functionality. So, essentially create a web application that uses Power BI Embedded to display reports and then iframe that.

For CRM, generally you can iframe CRM or just create a Power BI report based upon Microsoft CRM data and again use Power BI Embedded.

I am interested in this solution, but I am not sure how do you refresh data in embedded reports against SFDC data?

Hi smoupre. I don't want to create a new web app (for that for sure I would use the new Power BI Embedded functionality) , I just want to embed PowerBI reports into an existing Salesforce.com application, in an iframe. And by the way, data in my PowerBI reports are not coming from Salesforce.com, but from another data source. My client wants to see its reports inside Salesforce. So not sure if I can do that, because first step is to register my web app in Azure... but Salesforce.com is not my application.
