Report Doesn't Render in Own Application

I was able to get my report to render properly in the AppOwnsData example. However, when migrating that code to my own application, the report doesn't display. There are no errors and looking at the source, the EmbedReport view looks identical between the working and non-working version. Any suggestions?

My process was as follows:

  • Add all packages from AppOwnsData sample to my application
  • Add all relevant web.config keys
  • Add EmbedConfig.cs Model
  • Add ReportEmbed view
  • Add all ReportEmbed logic from HomeController in app owns data to my application
  • Update all Usings
  • Added ReportContainer CSS to my CSS files

Anything I'm forgetting?

Hi @ats1958,

As there is no any error messages, it's difficult for us to assist on this issue. So I would suggest you follow this article which discusses some common issues you may encounter when embedding content from Power BI to try troubleshooting your embedded application in this scenario. Smiley Happy
