Managed Metadata Columns from SharePoint 2013 list are not displaying in Power BI Desktop tool

I have followed below steps to import SharePoint 2013 list which contains Managed Metadata Columns to Power BI Desktop tool

  1. To access data within Power BI Desktop, we have used “Get Data” then chosen SharePoint lists as the data source, and supplied an URL to the site & then we connected successfully.
  2. Then we selected Taxonomy Hidden List & displayed data for few columns like Term Id, TermSet Id, TermStore Id, Term Label etc. on Page inside Power BI Desktop tool.
  3. Then we selected list which contains Managed Metadata Field. But, here is the catch we don’t see any managed metadata field in Power BI.

Does anyone already faced this issue?

Your technical help is really appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi @sandipgthombare,

1. What is the "Managed Metadata"?

2. Is it stored in the Sharepoint List?

Best Regards,

Dale
