Column data values are not sorted in Matrix visual in Power BI

Hi

I am using Matrix visual for one of analysis in power BI online version. row is USERNAME( datatye text), column is MONTH (datatype text) and data values are NUMBER OF FILES( datatype integer).

USERNAME     MONTH(example: 2016/1)     MONTH(example 2016/2)        TOTAL

JOHN                    2                                             5                                             7

KABALU                4                                              15                                          19

SARVIN                 9                                                8                                          17

RITWI                    3                                                 2                                           5

                Total:      18                                    Total: 30                                     Total: 48

In the above all the numbers are NUMBER OF FILES (aggregated sum). and applied row total and column total as  shown .

above.

when i am cliking on USERNAME data sorted fine as ascending or descnding

when i am cliking on column total (total 48) data values are sorted fine as ascending or descnding.

But problem is Clicking on Month 2016/1, existing values are 2,4,9,3 its should show after sorting like 2,3,4,9 or 9,4,3,2 but not working.

Clicking on Month 2016/2, existing values are 5,15,8,2 its should show after sorting like 2,5,8,15 or 15,8,5,2 but not working.

so i am getting problem when i am cliking on any Month (column).

Please help me with any solution and your support is appreciated..

Thanks

Ritwm

I've the smiliar issue with Power BI Matrix table. But not in Excel Pivot table or table. :(.

Still waiting for someone who can help to resolve this or MS Power BI to include same filtering/sorting feature currently  had in Excel.

Month sorting is a special case that needs extra column to have numbers in ascending order of sort and use it as "Sort on" field by clicking on Data Model column for "Month".
