unexpected crossjoin in table

Hi.

Im performing a ranking against Posts so we can identify top and bottom posts.

It works ok, until I add the Center in which the post resides.

At this point, it looks like a crossjoin occurrs and the table now has a cross join between center and post.

Ive tried hierarchies, calculated columns using related(post) but cant get this resolved. Would appreciate some advise.

There is a pbix at the below link illustrating the problem with a small amount of sample data.

Hi Wilson,

Can you please try this in ranking function.

Rank of Location = IF([Sum of Value]=BLANK(),BLANK(),rankx(all(Location), [Sum of Value],,DESC,Dense))

Thank you Farhan, that worked!

Could i ask for the correct reason why this worked? It would be good to understand whats going on under the hood here.
