chiclet slicer select multiple

Is there a way to allow mutliple selections using a chiclet slicer like there is using a traditional slicer? Or can only one item be selected at a time?

I need to use it on IPAD also ... is it possible?

HI there, 

You/your users just need to hold down the CTRL button and click the desired selections.
