can line charts filter other visuals?

this is probably a dumb or hopeful question, but is there anyway to get a line chart to filter the other visuals in a dashboard?  i.e if i click on a point in  a line chart, when i hover over it, it shows me in the tool tip what date i am on, if i then wanted to filter the other visuals on my dashboard to see what events took place on that date by click on the chart, is that possible?  I cant use drill down because drill downs take away the exclude functionality which i need.

You can have any visual/ chart to interact as a filter in your reports.

thanks for the response, i am aware of the edit interactions.   However specifically with the line chart you can click on other visuals and it will filter through to the line chart however, when click on a pointin the line chart, it doesn't filter the other visuals, edit interactions does show the filter which is enabled, however that doesn't have an impact.

Hi,

The line chart is a template which is already designed. It seems that we can't achieve this with the line chart, but we can try a custom visual though it isn't perfect. We can try the custom visual here: https://app.powerbi.com/visuals/. This one is recommended: https://app.powerbi.com/visuals/show/PBI_CV_25997FEB_F466_44FA_B562_AC4063283C4C It's not perfect.
