YTD Sales measure not working

Hi all,

I´m trying to create a new measure to have the volume sold as of YTD.

Both sales volume comes from the same table (Sheet1) but somehow the calculation is giving me an error.

Can somebody please help me with this?

Your Recons_Date column is not a Date/Time type, it is Text. You need to feed TOTALYTD a true Date/Time column type.

@Mega79,

I would recommend you directly select your Recons_Date column, and change its data type to Date as shown in the following similar screenshot.

Then create YTD using DAX below.

Ventas YTD = TOTALYTD(SUM(Sheet1[Qty_sold_in_UPC_UOM]), Sheet1[Recons_Date])
