Wrong display of date

Hi, this is my first post, so be patiente with me. I have excel files with columns DateOfSale and DateOfRelease. It has value stored as decimal number, formated as short date (dd/.mm/yyyy). When I use this xlsb. file as source in PowerBI, in Columns date 31/1/2011 is displayed, not 04/01/2015 as is correct (for example). Advice pls? This is fileFile

Hi Tomislav. The date format used in the Query and Data views are based on your machine's Windows locale. You can control the format that's used in the reports from the Modelling ribbon either in the Data view or Report view. There are more details here:

Hi Tomislav. The date format used in the Query and Data views are based on your machine's Windows locale. You can control the format that's used in the reports from the Modelling ribbon either in the Data view or Report view. There are more details here:
