Visualization and some fields not visible

Hi,

I am new to Power BI. I have installed Power BI Desktop and then tried loading sample excel data. But have faced following few issues straight away -

- The Visualization options are not visible to me and

- Some of the fileds are not visible in the list

- It doesn't allow to drag any of the fields.

Instead of dragging and dropping the fields can you try selecting the fields you want in your report. See if that works. 

Also I would suggest doing some reading on what functionalities are supported with excel as a datasource for Power BI.
