TV Power BI reports - published on the web

I have a published report with a scheduled refresh every 15 minutes.

If i add the &refresh=1 to the url, it only refreshes after 1 minute as passed. I have a bunch of Power BI reports in a cycle on a TV. I can only cycle using a html refresh cycle. As such, I publish the reports to the web and embed them in html code setting redirects between html pages.

Is there a way to refresh on page load the report? It makes no sense to show the outdated data, wait 1 minute and then refresh the file.

Can I set a refresh timer in seconds?

Is there a better way? Can I open a power bi report passing my credentials through HTML? If yes, I could use the ?chromeless feature. I can't access the TV box directly because my IT department sucks, I can only use a program where I add my widget "the html cycle page"

P.S - i'm talking about a direct query report, which updates everything I open the report on powerbi service

Hi @Anonymous,

>>I have a published report with a scheduled refresh every 15 minutes.

In Power BI service, you set the dataset of a report schedule refresh every 15 minutes, right? Until now, schedule refresh frequency occure maximum 8 times a day. We can't set a refresh timer in seconds, please review this feature request and vote it.

Actually, I am confused about your URL, what URL did you use? If you add the &refresh=1 to refresh every minute, you can add add the &refresh=1/60 to refresh every second based on my understanding.

Could you please share more details for further analysis?

Best Regards,
Angelia

I used the &refresh=1/60 in the published report URL. It does not work. It ONLY refreshes after 15 mins have passed, the scheduled refresh has ran

https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=(report id)&refresh=1/60

It's a direct query report published to the web

Hi @Anonymous,

Based on what I know, Data refreshes are automatically reflected in your embedded report or visual. It can take approximately 1 hour for refreshed data to be visible from embed codes. I add a refresh=1, it still doesn't refresh.
