Rolling 12 months sum for inventory

Hi all,

I am trying to calculate rolling 12 month sum fo rmy inventory. Following up the posts in teh community I have tried 

CALCULATE([Inventory], DATESINPERIOD('Date'[Date],LASTDATE('Date'[Date]),-12,MONTH)) 

But it just returns the same result as Inventory. I'll appreciate any help.

Could you please post your data model and relationship? Even better you can upload a sample pbix.
