Hello,
Table1-Date, Director, Client_Name, Value1, Value2
Table2-Date, Director, Client_Name, Value3, Value4
Table3-Client_Name (select distinct(client_name) from dbo.table)
Table4-Director (select distinct(Director) from dbo.table)
I created separate tables due to another task, i.e. I am using values from multiple sources in a Funnel. I have 2 selectors (Table3 and Table4) and in order to filter funnel's data, selectors have to be in sync with those tables.
So, I created Table3 and Table4 and am successfully join (create relationship) between Table1 and Table2 with Table3. But somehow by doing the same thing, I am not able to do it for Table 4 with Table1 and Table2. It gives error saying 'Cannot create relationship, values have to unique.'
What could be the issue?
Please help.
Thanks,
Swapnil

Could you please post a screenshot for your relationship displayed in Power BI Desktop? You should be able to create relationship as below with single direction as below. But cannot create same relationship with both direction because cross filtering can create an ambiguous set of relationships.

Herbert
