PowerBI Premium: P1

First of all, I'm not sure where to categorize this question but I just decided to post it here.

What is the minimum users for P1 server under PowerBI premium? is it 1000 inclusive of Pro users(maybe 20% are Pro).

EDIT: Or maybe a more appropriate question is what is the ideal number of users under 1 P1 node?, how much can it handle?

The break-even point is 550 users if you have a 10:1 ratio of readers versus authors:

In terms of how much it can handle, that's kind of subjective. Using the default ratios for the Premium pricing calculator here:

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/calculator/

This specifies 3 P1 instances for 5,000 users.

1/3 of 5,000 would be 1,667 users. So, about 1,700 users for a single P1 instance?

Thanks @Greg_Deckler,

That article you've shared is a pretty good explanation.
