Overlapping data labels in line-clustered bar chart

Hi ,

I am facing data labels overlapping issue in line-clustered chart. Something like below,

Could you please assist in resolving this issue.

Thanks,

Karthick.

Hi @Karthick1,

In your scenario, as data labels of line overlaps column data labels, you can change different Start and End value for the Y-Axis of line to separate line and columns. You can turn on the Show Secondary, then change Y-axis for the line or columns, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/power-bi-visualization-customize-x-axis-and-y-axis#customi...

Also you can try to change data label orientation.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. On following this workaround, I can modify axis and show it. But After every data refresh or slicer change , values in bars and line changes and I have to manually check each and every time to check any overlap of data labels. I might have to change axis again to show the visual gracefully. Also people might not like change in axis(secondary) every now and then.

Thanks,

Karthick
