Afternoon,
The september update has the custom theme idea I've been looking forward to for a little bit (thank you so much).
I was wondering if anyone knew how to export a current theme. I have my reports styled in the exact same way for values, visuals, etc; I'd like to be able to find/export my current theme from my report as so I'm able to use it in other reports/apply to new visuals in the report.

Hi @ElliotP,
After research, applying a Report Theme requires a JSON file, using a basic structure, which you can then import into Power BI Desktop and apply to your report. If you want to apply a Report Theme to a Power BI Desktop report, select Switch Theme button from the Home ribbon, then select Import Theme(corresponding .json file) from the drop-down.
So why do you need to expore theme, you just verify which .json file do you use. When you create another report, you use the same .json again.
Best Regards,
Angelia
@v-huizhn-msftthanks for the quick response. I haven't created a Report Theme json file, I would like to be able to use the current template I've created in my powerbi file from setting all of the visuals to have uniform colours for different values/variables. Thoughts?
