Missing MS Access tables/queries in the Navigator

Hi,

I am trying to connect MS Access with Power BI. All queries are showing up when I try to get data while one query is not showing up. Please suggest what I need to do?

This is query which i want to import.

But when I am trying to import query from Access to Power BI only this query is not appearing.

Thanks!

Nancy

Hi @Nancy_Kakkar,

From the screenshot you provided above, I find that object "Visual_Board-Query" has a small arrow next to its lower-left corner which indicates that it is just a shortcut or pointer to the actual object. That's why it is now showing up in the Navigator.

The shortcut itself cannot be imported, you should import the actual object which it points to.

In addition, to find out which actual object it points to, you can right click the shortcut, then select "Table Properties". Smiley Happy
