How can we use the MERGE QUERY in DirectQuery mode.

If queries are from single database (I assume it is, as that's limitation of DirectQuery).

As @Chihiro mentioned above, this is currently a limitation of DirectQuery. And the alternative option is using SQL Statement to join the queries in this scenario.
