Link column to corresponding ID for visual filter

Hi,

I'm very new to Power BI and I'm stuck trying to figure out how to link "Mill" names from another table to the correct "BusinessUnitID" so that I can filter visuals in the second picture. The yellow "Values" under "Mill" correctly correspond to the "BusinessUnitID" from the SQL database but I can't figure out how to make an actual column from those values.

Basically I want the filters to be the mill names rather than the Business Unit ID's.

Hi @jacksondumas,

On the PBI go to Manage Relationship and connect the two tables by the BusinnesUnitID and then select the Mill from the table were you have the Mill names should work

Be aware that one of the tables must have unique IDs.

Hi @jacksondumas,

MFelix is right. You can create relationships to bring all the tables together.

Based on the table you already have, we could expand the table. Did you notice the sign in blue? Please try it.
