Last year Revenue for the full month

Hi.

I have created a measure to calculate the net revenue of last year-

revenue net_PY = CALCULATE([revenue net],DATEADD('date'[date_key],-1,YEAR))

This gives me the value according to the date slicer for example if the date range is 1 May 2018-22 May 2018, it gives the revenue for the time period 1 May 2017-22 May 2017.

What I want is that it gives me the numbers from 1 May 2017-31 May 2017.

Kindly guide.

@Vvelarde Thank you so much.

I used CALCULATE(SUM([revenue net]), PARALLELPERIOD(date, -12, MONTH)) for the same and was able to get the result.
