Hey folks,
I turned on the new matrix preview, and its fantastic! One question though. I have a date hiearchey column header and I would like to keep it expanded. For example, I have the last 12 months of sales data going so if it is expanded to 2017 I am only getting 5 months and not the full 12 month trend. Two examples below.
The old matrix fucntionality where I see the year ANDmonth:
The new matrix fucntionality where I can see the years, and drill down.
After drilling down, I see the month but have lost the 2017 data.
Thank you!!
Seems to be a bug.
Try right click on one of the year and choose expand to next level. For me it was successfull.
Hey Spuder,
Thank you for the reply. Clicking on a year, in this case 2016, does indeed drill down as expected and then shows me all the months from 2016. My problem is I want it to show both year (2016, 2017) and month from the start, and then I can choose to drill down from there.
Understand. When I right click on the year 2016 it gives me a little menu.
And there is the point "expand ..."
try this one.
