KPI icons from UNICHAR() not displaying properly

I created KPI icons in some tables using UNICHAR().  This is what it looks like.

But not everybody sees this.  Some people see this when they open the .pbix file.

At first I thought this might be due to the browser they were using, but this is happening within the .pbix file itself.  Anyone know why this happens?  This is obviously very problematic.  Thank you.

Hi @iDataDrew,

I think the issue may relate to their web browser, I test on chrome/edge/IE and only IE not show the color of unicode icons.

You can also take a look at below link which mentioned how to let unicode works on IE:

Unicode characters and Internet Explorer
