Im aware this is a high level question, and to answer fully, people would need an underlying schema, sample data & description of the processes.
All i can provide at present is a mock up of a sample report, thats manually built in excel on a monthly basis.
My question is, is this report style better suited to SSRS?
Some Detail:
the report is manually created on a monthly basis in excel. This sample is for Programme A, but there are 15 other programmes wiht almost identical reports, but different as the statuses that define Acceptance are different. This means universal measures might be messy.
Underying schema is a relational database.
-Table for Programme
-Table containing a record for each status of an application status change.
Again, i appreciate its very difficult to answer the question but from the high level info provided, I am veering toward using SSRS and not PowerBI and would like some input if people think PowerBI might be suitable?

In case it helps anyone, we are gong with SSRS for this report.
We could probably do it in PowerBI with a ton of measures, but as powerBI is more suited to repeating data & hierarchies, it would be more trouble than its worth trying to shoehorn this report into powerbi.
