Hello everybody,
Does anyone know if there is a way to get the field "Task Status Manager" from Project Online to Power BI ?
Thanks for your help,
William
@William ,
Based on this blog, project online OData feed only contains the default project site columns(Risks, Issues , etc). Task Status Manager field is not included in the default OData feed.
Please create a custom task level field following Prasanna's suggestion in this similar thread then check if the field appears in the OData feed.
Regards,
Lydia
Dear Lydia,
I created a custom task level field in PWA settings with the formula = [Status Manager] as suggested but the oData shows only "null".
I don't get any information either when I display this information from PWA.
Did anyone managed to show this information successfully in Project Online?
Thank you all,
William
@William,
Regarding to this issue, I would recommend you post the question in Project Online forum to get dedicated support.
Meanwhile, I found an idea about adding Status Manager in Project Online OData Feed, you can vote it up.
Regards,
Lydia
Dear Lydia,
I found out that the value of the newly created field appears correctly, but only for projects created after having added the custom field.
All existing projects did not get the change.
Thanks,
William

Hi everyone,
Here are the steps to add a new custom field to your tasks/projects/resources:
- From PWA settings, create your custom field (it can be renamed later)
- To push the changes to all your projects, open all of them with Project Professional, click on File and "Publish Project Progress".
The new fields will appear correctly for all the views that are configured to display it.
Hope it helps,
William
