There is a data entry error in a date field that I'm trying to replace using the "Replace Values" in the query editor. I want to replace "5/8/2016" with "5/7/2016". however, when try to do this using the "Replace Value" function, it doesn't change. Is their a formatting issue that needs to be done first?

There should be no issue if the column is of type date. Notice that dates don't come with surrounding double quotes.
