Group & Filter by Dataset

Is there a way we can group datasets in the relationship tab? For example, we have ten datasets from Europe and ten datasets from North America- how do we group these datasets by region and filter?

From there, we would like to be able to create an additional group subsets as well. Example- Region: North America, Subgroup: Canada, Mexico.

Appreciate your help

Hi @kghodge,

Do the datasets have same table structure? If so, use “Append Queries” feature in Power BI Desktop to add all rows of these datasets in a single table, then create new region group in the new table following the guide in the official article below.

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-grouping-and-binning/

Thanks,

We are currently using multiple datasets that we would like to group in the relationship tab. Is there a way to group multiple datasets and then filter them by the group?

For example, ten datasets from Europe and ten datasets from North America. How can we group these and filter? From there, we would like to create an additional level of grouping.

Appreciate your help. Thanks
