Hi All,
when I have upgraded version of Power bI Desktop I found out that one of my report does not open anymore with the following description:
Error Message:
Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted to a scalar value.
Memory error: Memory Allocation failure : Not enough storage is available to process this command. . Try simplifying or reducing the number of queries.
and etc.
Does anybody have any variant how to cope with that?
Thank you for the response!

Hi NastyaLagunova,
Please download PBI Desktop from here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/ and check if the issue still occurs.

Hi NastyaLagunova,
What had you done when the issue occured? Were you trying to refresh your report or import some other data source to your report with SQL statements? Could you please provide more details about your issue?
In addtion, about the memory error, I would recommend you to use 64-bit version power bi desktop instead 32-bit because there's no memory limitation in 64-bit version.

Jimmy Tao
Hi Jimmy!
Thank you for the response.
I have downloaded new version of Power BI here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=45331 (as soon as you hit the page, it automatically offers download). Afterwards when I updated my bersion of Power BI on the existed one, I see this error while openining workbook.
'Were you trying to refresh your report or import some other data source to your report with SQL statements' - no, I did not do anything like that.
Where I can download 64 bit version?
Sincerely,
Anastasiia Lagunova

Hi Jimmy,
thank you for the link. Yep, it works fine! Report opens as usual.
But for me it is interesting: which type of Power BI version people download here (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=45331), so that it doesn't work?
Best Regards,
Anastasiia Lagunova
