Hi PowerBI Gurus!
I am new to Power BI and I have a question that I need some inputs on, with respect to drilling through a specific value on the aggregated report to show the respective detailed records on a detailed report.
I have 2 tables, a detail table A and an aggregated table B (aggregated based on the detail table A using ETL). I have 2 reports, 1 based on the aggregate table and 1 based on the detailed table. I need to show all the detailed transactions specific to the selected aggregated value.
For ex:
Aggregated Report 1: Total Sales by Customer by Month
Detailed Report 2: Sales Line Transactions (pass on the parameters selected from the aggregated report)
If I click on the total sales $999 for Customer 'XYZ' in the Month of 'March 2017', the detailed report should show all the sales line transactions (with additional columns like product, dates, etc.) for the Customer 'XYZ' and the month of 'March 2017' amounting to the $999.
Hopefully I have been able to explain my question in a good amount of detail.
Any help/ideas is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Keith
