Donut Chart - Split by a dimension

Hi,

I am looking for a way to split my donut chart based on a particular dimension.                             .

If this cant be done using a donut chart, do you have any suggestions on other charts I can use besides Clustered column chart?

Please advise.

Thanks

@Anonymous

I have created a sample file to show you one possible way you can achieve this. See the link below This is based on the example you shared.

Example

If this doesn't work, it will be useful to know more detail about the dynamic selection for want.

Thanks for your example. I am looking to have the assigned name split by priority. I do not think there is way to do it Power BI

Whichever chart it is, I need to have it split by Assigned name dynamically. The Assigned names are part of a group. As the group changes, the list of names changes.

@Anonymous you query is not very clear. Can you elaborate your question please?

To elaborate more:

I have some sample data like below:

I am looking to create multiple donut graph split by "Priority" in each but have a chart for each Assigned Name.

Hope this adds more clarity to my previous question. Even if its not a donut chart, any other custom chart is also good.

Thanks!

@Anonymous

Create the same number of donut charts as you have names and then use the Visual Filter pane to assign a name for each:

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately I am looking to make this dynamic since the list of "Assigned Name" can vary based on other selections, if that makes sense

Hi @Anonymous,

Unfortunately, such a dynamical generation is not achievable right now.
