Data Refresh - Expression.Error column not found

I have read the Community information extensively, and while some people have "solutions", I can't find any that describe the solution or how it was resolved.

I have a dashboard which uses a .csv file to support he dashboard.  When clicking Refresh, I receive a message that the ...Column "xxx" of the table wasn't found.  (I looked at both the original file, and the replacement file and the column is clearly there.  Same syntax - no change.

When looking in query editor it identifies the the column that is missing.  It seems that it is around a "Changed Type" in the Applied Steps, however removing the step removes a needed column.

Beyond that, I am not sure what steps to take to try and resolve the error.

Thanks in advance for any help you could provide.

Hi @irnm8dn,

Yes, the issue might related to the "Changed Type" step. As stated in this article Data types in Power BI Desktop. When you load data into Power BI Desktop, it will attempt to convert the data type of the source column into a data type that better supports more efficient storage, calculations, and data visualization. Then when you refresh the data, there may exists some new data which don't fit the data type and cause the issue.

Also, based on my research below are some relevant threads which are talking about the same issue. Please make a reference and see if it helps.
