I have a DATE column. Most of the values are in between year 2016 & 2017. But the output is some thing else.
Please suggest what to do.

You need to drill down the proper hierarchy. When you drag that "BILLDT" column into the visual, it should automatically create a date hierarchy for you.
Something like BILLDT: Year, Quarter, Month, Day
If you are only interested in the Month and Year, you could remove the Quarter and Day from the hierarchy and just drill down into your visual. It should show you the values per month and year.
