Change selectable values in a Slicer through other visuals

Hi, I would like to have a Slicer in which the values (Sub-categories) changed to match the Main-category, that is being filtered by a Donut chart.

How can I do that?

Hi @dancotrin,

If I understand your requirement correctly that you want to filter the value in Slicer through other visual.

If it is, it may be impossible for us to get it. However, we could filter the value in Slicer by Page filter.

Page filtering works fine too,

but I would like to use the donut chart for the sake of intuitive operation and design.

It seems that there is no options to get what you want directly in Power BI currently.

You could post your new idea in Power BI idea Forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
