Hi Power BI Geek,

Am I right to say Power Query in Power BI Desktop is kind of self-service ETL tool? I'm a newbie of Power BI and practicing daily. I find it completely powerful for data transformation.

Is there any resource where I can find the comparison between ETL in SQL Server (2014 or later) with Power BI ?

Yes PQ is a self service etl tool.  I'm not aware of any comparison sites.  Power query will be added to SQL Server analysis services later this year I believe. I do not see our query replacing SSIS  as they serve different purposes
