Featured Dashboard and Group Workspace

When someone in my group workspace logs in I am trying to automatically route them to a specific dashboard.  If you set a featured dashboard in a group workspace, is the dashboard featured only for my personal login, or does it apply to the entire group?

So I think I just answered my own question...  I created a test user and added them to the group workspace.  Logged in as them and it did not go to the featured dashboard that was saved in my main admin login for PowerBI.  My question to the community now would be, is there a way to easily direct users to a dashboard "landing page" once they log in and are part of a group workspace?  I'm trying to avoid content packs.  I was hoping the group workspaces would allow users to simply log in and view reports/dashboards they have access to.  it's a bit annoying for them to try to get the menu to appear since it is hidden by default if they have no content packs or other content, then they have to click through to open the group workspace.

I have come up against this too. Did you ever find a solution @jonculp85?

No, I have not found a solution.  Instead, we are deploying SSRS fo them.  I think SSRS and PowerBI will continue to merge, or at least I hope.  SSRS needs more mobile functionality like PowerBI, and PowerBI needs more configuration and user experience control like SSRS.  Time will tell.  Microsoft is doing a lot right these days.
